The project was established in 2000 and its main aim is to clean the embankments of the Morava River in the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape while floating down the river in inflatable boats and rafts. The project is implemented by the Gymnázium Jana Opletala in Litovel, ADETO, z.s. provides logistics and funding.
The project also aims to develop the abilities, skills and attitudes of students to the environment and its protection and tries to contribute to the sustainable development of human society with the least possible impact on the landscape.
Through the project we want to make students aware of the current state of our nature and show the risks arising from the functioning of human society and their impact on the environment. We also want to introduce students to the prospects of environmental protection and how they can contribute to the care of the environment and the landscape. Last but not least, the project introduces students to new perspectives on leisure activities and promotes nature-friendly rafting.
